Bad bogging burnouts - problem solved !
Recently I posted a couple of threads on the problem I was having with my burnout routine. The car would sometimes bog during the actual burnout. Several suggestions were made and I tried all of the solutions that didn't require me to spend any money first. :D
It seems that the problem was solved by a combination of suggestions that I took.
1. I started driving into the water box in 2nd gear (as opposed to driving into box in 1st. gear).
2. I stop in the box for a moment and THEN turn off the traction control (had been doing that prior to entering water box).
3. Then let off and idle out of water box and engage the line loc.
4. Stop and with t/c off, in second gear, and line loc engaged put foot on brake and stomp on it as usual.
Result: at two different tracks and with about 10 passes, I have had no problem whatsoever with burnouts using this new routine. :hurray:

I want to thank everyone who responded to the earlier posts. It was the suggestions of several that really made the difference. Everyone in the CF rocks!
