Oil Consumption Issues???????
May be upgrading to an '03 Z. Have read in the past that oil consumption was a problem for a while with the Z06s. Were the '03s included in this problem? Thanks for prompt response!

This was primarily an issue with 01. The LS-6 got the new ring design at the start of 02 production that was intended to fix this problem. I know my LS-1 is very good on oil.

Most problems of this type were on the 2001 cars. ANY car can have oil consumption problems if assembly/parts were poor, OR the break-in process is ignored. You should have no problem with the '03 car. :yesnod: :)

I have had my car 03 for 6100 miles no Oil consumption granted Ive already changed the oil twice. Every 3000 dont care what anyone says. I have done that on all my cars and not one have had any problems.
