Anyone have the procedure for refilling the transmission fluid on a FLP A4 tranny?
Also, how much power can a stock differential withstand drag racing 3500 stall and et streets?
What is the bullit proof recommendation for the diff? Also, what is the most common driveline brakage with 550 or more RWHP? :grouphug:
halfshaft twisted anyone?
If filling from dead empty replacement pour 1 quart in TC before installing and fill tranny through side fill hole (after all is back in car) untill it runs out. Start the car and run for 1-2 minutes. Shutoff & refill until fluid runs out. Restart and gradually fill until fluid begins to spill out the side fill hole. Should be full. Goes without saying but make sure car is supported by jack stands and is fairly level. Drive around and re-check same way.....with car running in park & fluid up to the side fill hole.

Once you have filled the trans, REPLACE THE PLUG (finger tight) before running through the gears and getting ready to top it off. With the car running, remove the plug and add necessary fluid to bring it to the top of the hole (until some runs out), then replace the plug. :yesnod: :)
