Seasons Greetings! I am pretty new to the forum. I have been mostly hanging out on the parts for sale section but figure I should ask my questions here. I visited the archives first and got most of what I needed so far. Oil filter issues answered but is it my imagination or is the filter we use a bit on the dinky side? It looks like the size that is on my lawn mower. No wonder it needs to be the most effecient available. The rocking chair seat I now find Ill be able to get fixed under the extended warrenty. I wasnt able to find anyhing about the noise my car makes when I shut down. It makes a rattleing noise. I thought it was a loose engine or trans mount or something. I was a bit concerned and called the dealer and told him. He asked me if I had a 6 speed and when I said yes, He said it was normal. Any body else been told this? Is it normal? I can also hear what I think is the clutch fork or something make a noise when I push in the cllutch pedal. Is there an adustment? Being hydraulic, I didnt think there was anything to adjust. Thanks for any help or comments. BTW this site is the best

:iagree: He is correct :yesnod: Hold the clutch in when you shut the car off...it will be quieter.

This is a C5 normality! It isn't normal but it's normal for the C5. Don't worry, you will get use to it and you will push the clutch in on instinc.
Now that you know that all MN6 trans cars do it, it wont bother you as much.
Enjoy the car! Drive it like you stole it!
