Now I have another PCM code 1514 (TAC System MAF Performance -A). What does it means? and what is causing it? I have a feeling that it is the mass air; in the past I was getting TB codes... now, this one. And it goes into "reduced power" mode.
Thanks for the input(s) :smash:

You have to delete the code and go into the airflow tables and up the numbers. It's a safety feature. The PCM sees a bunch of air coming through, but the throttle isn't open enough to justify that much air. It assumes the throttle blade is broken or missing and shuts you down. Every blower car has this problem until the tables are changed.

Thanks for the replies guys. I do not have a Supercharger but I do have NOS(dry). The car behaves this way on motor under hard accelerations and only sometimes...It have a mind of it's own. Hit it from a stop and sometimes it goes and others it will go into reduced power mode. I then pull over, turn off car, clear code and drive again.
To answer your question Bill, yes the car is modified...heads, cam, exhaust, TB and gears. Well, at least it runs 10.30's when it runs right. All this started when I repalced the TB with a stock ported unit a week or so after driving it with the new TB. :mad
