Cedric, no, not yet. After the head swap, the only tuning we did was when we had our battery going south during the session and were getting squirrelly results. The next day, we ran that string of tens. We really need to go and spend some time looking at what the situation is now. I would like to run a few more times at the track (do some track tuning) and then do some dyno tuning. However, as you know, the roll bars came, they are in the garage now and the interior is spread all over the floor. So it looks like the next time we run, we will have a little extra weight on board.
But, as you know, we really need to look at it before too long. We have made too many changes now and need to see where we are at.

All you have to do is bury the rubber air dam and it will scoop water directly into the Vortex..Like a slab of cheese coming off the slicer :D
You have to bury the nose for a Vram Lock.. In that case you are a dumazz and deserve it.

I have never seen that on this forum with VARARAM.
That wasn't vararam. That was the vortex. :D
Going back to March of this year these are the two posts about hydrolock that I could find, despite being asked several times there is no mention on the brand of the one that the system was not stock, and the other it is unknown who made it (stock or not).
That is how these stories get started. I have seen posts some time ago about hydrolock - and it was a Halltech TRIC system (since discontinued for that reason). The TRIC drew air from below the bumper area so was more prone to it, but even with all the systems they sold I only saw the one post, and that was a long time ago.
If someone has the thread about a hydrolock with a Vararam (or Vortex for that matter) post it and prove it.
Like others have said you would have to earn the dumb ASZ of the world award to hydrolock a Vararam equipped motor. Even on my lowered car the bottom of the inlet is 7" above pavement, so the "puddle" has to be over 7" deep, and hit with enough force to go vertical almost 3', through a filter, over a bridge and into the throttle body and THEN while that was going on the owner not having enough common sense to kill the motor.
Urban myths are hard to shake, so with all the satisfied Vararam users out there, many in very wet climates, let me see a single legitimate post that it happened, and how. Otherwise I say :bs .
