To adjust the parking brake...

Pull car to top of driveway. Put car in neutral and relaese the brakes. While the car is moving backwards, slowly pull up on the parking brake lever. You will here loud noises that seem really bad, but this is the parking brake adjusting itself. May need to do this several times, but this is how it is done.

This is NOT how its done.... the roll back adjustment is only for any errant slack in the cable... the clearance between the shoes and the drum are critical.. if you think you have the star adjuster tight... and can barely get the rotor on.. give it a few more clicks.. tap it on with a hammer.. you will see that once the rotor is in the fully forward position it lossens up...the wear of the drum seems to be tapered on all the C5's// its tighter on initial engagement
