Thanks for all the feedback. I was hoping for more folks with A4s to chime in but maybe there aren't too many that have done gears in the A4s. I think 4.10s for my MN6 is a solid hit. Sounds like some think 4.10s for an A4 is too steep. I may calculate the 70mph rpm with 4.10s and drive in lower gears at that rpm a while to see how ridiculous it seems. I have 4.11s on my '68 and I'm up over 3000 rpm on the Interstate. That's pretty hard on an old engine and if I go 80 or more I get a little blow by. It sure is fun around town though! Thanks again. I guess I'll have to swallow hard and decide.

I like the 3.73s, but I do not drive on the hwy much. Only lost about 2mpg.
3.73s will only raise your RPM on the hwy by about 400 over 3.15s.
