From what I have heard, its pretty much only good for automatic cars to change the shift firmness, and change fan temperature settings. Power wise, most people say its no good.
With the following mods only: x-pipe, catback exhaust, ls6 intake manifold and a K&N Filter with cut out shroud, the HT PPIII gave me another 12rwhp, let me reprogram for different wheel size I switched to. The difference was noticable, but not overly so. The Predator was not available when I got mine, but also sounds like a good product. If you are sticking with simple mods and want a simple solution, the HT is not bad, the predator might be better. If you are even thinking about doing anything deeper, go LS1-Edit now and save your money. Good luck!
The hypertech will let you do some things without getting into trouble,
you have to realize they can't put out something that you can totatly
screw your car up with. I personaly like the superchip programmer,
it seems to offer a little more on the performance end.
