I took your advice and did some reading. However someone posted that these shocks would be too stiff for the stock c5 spring. I just purchased a z06 sway bar kit and wanted to uprgrade shocks also. What do I do? Would a different shock work? If so what kind? Help please.

The '04 Z shocks and any year Z sways go together very nicely, for road or track use. However, the ride will not be as gentle (or, of course, as sloppy) as the base setup. It's always a tradeoff.
Thanks for all the imput, 04 shocks on the way soon.
By the way, I suggest you do the changes without lowering the car. See how it rides first. Then, if you want, lower it a little and try it out. I found the ride deteriorates very rapidly with this setup as you lower the car. Anything more than about 1/2 inch and your tailbone will complain, unless you just like a hard riding car :yesnod:
