z06 shocks

Is there any difference between model years for z06 shocks. I am interested in upgrading my c5. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Do a search on the 04's. They have been recalibrated and are supposed to be a lot better. :thumbs:

I took your advice and did some reading. However someone posted that these shocks would be too stiff for the stock c5 spring. I just purchased a z06 sway bar kit and wanted to uprgrade shocks also. What do I do? Would a different shock work? If so what kind? Help please.

Hi NIC RYD....I have a 99 C5 and I installed 2002 Z06 shocks. It runs very smooth. I like the way is rides too. Good Luck :cheers:

By the way, I suggest you do the changes without lowering the car. See how it rides first. Then, if you want, lower it a little and try it out. I found the ride deteriorates very rapidly with this setup as you lower the car. Anything more than about 1/2 inch and your tailbone will complain, unless you just like a hard riding car :yesnod:
