Default Do I need to replace my lifters?

I just installed a TSP cam 228/228 .588/.588 112 LSA. The car ran great for the first couple of cycles. I got in it to take it out to have it programmed and I am hearing a loud clicking. Rockers are torqued properly but there are several cylinders where the rocker can be moved up and down. I took it for a ride anyway to see if they would "pump up," but no luck. I also checked the length of the new pushrods, they are fine. Do I need to upgrade my lifters? What would have caused this? To much lift for stock parts?

hmmm. did you make sure none of the pushrods were bent?

edit> I see now you said you checked the pushrod length.

To isolate the problem area, move a rocker that is loose when the valve is closed to one that is tight when the valve is closed and see if it becomes loose, if not then it is a lifter or pushrod problem.
If it is still loose then it is a rocker problem.
