LS6 Intake Install
Can not find a how to- what is involved parts wise if I switch my 99 LS1 intake to an 02 LS6 intake? intake is actually off an 02 LS1, but my understanding is that 02s use the LS6 intake ... :cheers:

The LS1HowTo web site has a pretty detailed article on the swap. From what I've read, it's not worth a whole lotta HP on a stock engine. But if it's just the start... :) Anyone know how much HP it's worth???

Guess I should have read the article first. LS1HowTo claimes it made 24 RWHP!!! Seems like a lot to me...

Make sure you have the coolant line and rear plugs before you start, or you'll have to cut the intake.
The proper torgue wrench is a must. That's in. lbs. not ft. lbs..
