I have a 2003 vert anniversaryedition and since it was new I was never able to spin the wheels from a slow roll.
All is stock. MN6 new GY run flats. only 3,000 miles on it. I took it out to try it again today (50 degrees and dry pavement) and noticed there was a bit of hesitation when I nailed the throttle. Any help would be appreciated.
If I raise the rpm a little it will spin the tires but never from a slow very slow roll?
Thanks
My dad's from a slow roll isn't able to break the tires loose either (don't know about after his mod's). You can tell it wants to though. You can just feel the rear tires trying to keep traction. Stock BALD goodyears.
If you turn your steering wheel about a turn to the left from a dead stall and give it abou 3/4 instant throttle the car will respond by spinning the tires and the rear will swing slightly to the right. Immediatly straighten out the car by staightening out the wheel and you should be able to steer it through a nice burnout. I've found this is easier on the car than power braking. Make sure that you have enough road clearance and you feel confident to attempt this.
