help-installing bel 3 piece radar detector
I am about to install my Bel 3 piece radar detector (Bel 915) in a 99 convertible and am wondering if anyone can suggest:
1) where to mount the main display (I am thinking about in the ashtray compartment is so I can flip the lid down to hide it)
2) where to mount the main transmitter/receiver (am thinking below the front bumper by the fog lights)
3) the best routing of wires through the firewall (i.e. what is easy to access and easy to hide wires).
If anyone has any suggestions on ANY of these questions, I would really appreciate it.
