Default CHANGING THE RUNFLATS

I need to replace my rear tires on 2000 coupe - it is at 20,000 miles - can I leave the runflats on the front until they wear out as well, while I change just the rear tires? Do I understand that the best pressure to run at is 30psi? Will take suggestions on which tires to replace with. Thanks - got mags but would like to get Z06 style polished aluminum :auto:

It depends how well you want your car to handle and ride. OEM runflats have very stiff sidewals and fairly poor traction. This will not help the car balance ride or handling with mixed tires. If you really want to improve the car all around why not replace all 4 now? You can get a set of Kumho MXs from http://www.tirerack.com for around $600.00 and you will love the improvement in ride, noise, grip, and even wet traction. You are going to have to do it sooner or later. Why not help it be a much better C5 now? 30 PSi is a good pressure t start with. Watch the tire wear pattern and see what it shows. I have seen more C5 tires that need a little less pressure than more.
