Need help with code after LGM install.....
Just finished installing my LGM headers and upon starting for the first time I received a P0300 code which is engine misfire detected. ???? What should I look for. I also changed the plugs to NGK TR55's and wires which are Taylor Thundervolt 50's ..I will check all connections after it cools down but is there anything else I should look for?? I cleared it once and restarted and after a few minutes it came back. :cry

P300 is a misfire code, so you may have a cracked plug or a bad wire. You might also check that the coil pack "gang connector" is pluged in.
If you have a water spray bottle, just spray each header pipe and see which pipe is cold. that will tell you which cylinder is not fireing.
You will also set an 02 code from the raw fuel in the exhaust from which ever cylinder is missing.
should be an easy fix.

I'm on it Lou, thanx :smash: By the way the sound at idle with my Magnaflows was impressive, cant wait to get out and open her up!!!
