Security light comes on while driving
Any info is appreciated.

Oh yeah, I had the car shut off on me while I was driving down the road at about 50mph. I pushed in the clutch and let it out a couple time but didn't fire up.

Now That's Got To Be Scary..........I once had my car loose power, but it didn't stall, so I still had power steering and brakes. All kinds of messages on the DIC...Reduced Engine Power, service ABS,service Traction Control. I was lucky I was still in my neighborhood and not on the HWY. I shut the car off....waited a few minutes, and it started right back up again. I was told that one computer stopped communicating with another computer. Thankfully, it never happened again
I got my codes so here goes.
For those wondering how I got these, check in the tech tips section. It tells you how to read codes with your DIC. You can also clear them out when you fix what caused it.

So it looks like I have a bad connection or a short in my data line somewhere. Guess I'll have to get out the razor blade and start opening up wire harnesses. My guess is I'll start behind the fuse block, then check the PCM harnesses plugs to make sure that they are still sealed and clean. Might even open up the PCM to check for corrosion inside. Now that I think about it, I wonder if any of those modules or the PCM is on a ciruit breaker and not a fues. I've had a breaker go bad on my 94 Z28 and go off and on a lot. I'll just have to keep you all posted.

I just had that whole thing happen too now. Reduced Engine Power, service ABS,service Traction Control. I already stated using the second key but it still comes on.

Before you start going crazy with that razor.......check behind the battery, they have been known to leak and cause damage to the vacum line and wiring harness in that area. NEXT....check behind the kick board on the passenger side for water intrusion. It has been found that if the AC "rubber utter" that extends through the fire wall is clogged, water backs up and ends up in that computer area. You can see the "rubber utter" from underneath the car, again on the passenger side, behind the battery. It extends through the fire wall and has a 90 degree elbow that points toward the ground.
