Default Stinger-R Intake delayed, but.................

I wish to apologize to those with the 97-2000 C5s who ordered Stinger-R Halltech Intake systems.

The folks that manufacture our filters, have been moving and have been working on our new mold for the 3.5" flange to fit the old style MAF.

We were promised these filters May 2nd. Now it looks like we will not have our filters until tomorrow or Friday.

Due to the long wait, we have decided to send a $25.00 coupon for future Halltech purchases for all those onboard at our already basement pricing. In addition, we are going to pay for 3rd day Air on all but local CA shipments.

Please be patient, we have read the riot act to our filter manufacture for promises not kept. I hate excuses, but they have always been very prompt, until now.

If you decide to cancel, we understand, and will refund your entire purchase. You may do so by emailing Debbie@CorvetteC5.com

Thanks,

Jim Hall :banghead:

Jim,

I spoke to your wife yesterday. She stated pretty much what you said in your post. No sweat. My car hasn't had an intake in the last 6 years in can wait at least 6 more days. I told her I would take either material but would prefer the ramey (sp?). Order #485

Jim,

I guess that this applies to my order, too? (#490)

Just a note to the guys waiting:

Don't worry, it's well worth the wait. I got mine last week and it's a top notch product.

That filter is HUUUUUUGE, and the airbridge looks..... well, lets say this, if the stock airbridge would fit a Geo metro in it, the Halltech bridge would fit an 18 wheeler.

Thanks again to Jim and Debbie!

I was about to call and raise a little stink. I'm glad your being honest about the situation Jim. I know we are boys with toys and want everything NOW. I just hope mine arrives in time to install and test prior to Dyno day at LG........ :lurk:
