Singer R install ??? help
I install my stinger on my 98 coupe today. There is a vacum line that was attached to the accordian coupler on the OEM , but nowhere to attach it to the stinger smooth coupler. Question is it needed and if so what did others that install Halltech stingers do.

I did not include this step in my procedure, since I don't have this sensor on my 01. To be sure, e-mail or call Jim Hall. He'll be glad to help. :cheers:

I just finished installing the Stinger on my 98. I drilled a small hole into the coupler for the FPR vacuum line. Looks like stock.
Make sure you don't oversize the hole, or the vacuum fitting won't seal good in the rubber. Took about 10 extra minutes, no biggie.
I guess this extra fitting only came on the earlier cars, so most write-ups will overlook it by mistake.
Everything else went smoothly. Hope this helps.
