Dyno Question, ABS Issue?
Tried to dyno my car again today, the numbers were strangely low, though the car seems to perform just as good as ever when driving it around. Every time at about 3.5-4K PRM, right when starting WOT, the ABS service light would come on and in the DIC. They think its pulsating a little and slowing the car down? The graph does get a little choppy, which the associate with the abs? Due you have to pull the ABS fuse when on the dyno? Is the car doing something because the front wheels are not turning? What gear with an A4 is best to do the WOT pull in? Doesn't seem to have any ABS issues on the street.
Never had these problems or issues before as I always went to an out of town forum tuner, but I know the people that own this local dyno-jet, and was running the car myself.
Thanks.
The car is confused because the front tires are not turning. But it does not engage the ABS.

Make sure TCS/AH are OFF and it will be OK. Just go in and manually clear out all of the codes after the dyno.
But you never dyno a car with the AH/TC engaged, the car will fall flat on it's face. Some dyno operators miss that on their first run, then have to re-group and turn off the AH/TC and start all over again.

For automatics you'd want to do a 3rd gear pull, it is your 1:1 ratio gear. If you have a stock converter it shouldn't be too hard for the operator to get your converter to lockup. The worst part about autos is stopping the car from downshifting... this is where EFILive w/ bi-directional controls comes in so you can lock the gear/converter
