Ported Z06 Intake

Has anyone ever seen a ported LS1 or LS6 intake manifold? I bought an LS6 intake off this net and noticed that someone actually ported out the tunnels in this thing. The inner flanges around the inside of where the intake gasket sits is razor thin. It shouldn't affect sealing because the grooves are still in tact. I was wondering if anyone else has done this for added flow? Looks like the area behind the TB has also been hogged out somewhat when I compared it with a new Z06 intake manifold.

Cartek ports their intakes.

I port matched mine when I put the ported heads on. Don't know if it helped. Didn't need to remove alot of material.
