I came across a good deal on a cut Ti exhaust and am considering upgrading (well sort of) my stock C5 exhhaust. Has anyone heard of any problems or drawbacks of welding the over the diff pipes to the cut Ti Exhaust?

Call around, I found here that a set I was offered that they attempted to do the "A&A mod" on wasn't worth it at $100. I couldn't find a mufflershop that could weld it locally.
I think you'll be better off buying a set like I did, that wasn't cut.

Welding Ti is a little tricky and requires an inert gas environment, like argon, as well as Ti filler metal for their TIG welder. Most shops will have no clue how to do this or have the setup (in my opinion). Probably ought to pass it up.
You cannot weld titanium to any other metal so if you are thinking of welding the titanimm mufflers to your steel tubes, forget it. The guy that sold these to you should have told you about this problem. He knew this because I told him about it.
