HVAC CODES.. Outside temp off??

Gents, I am getting the dreaded 361 and 441 codes.. The AC seems to work fine. Only glitch I see is the exterior temp is reading way low..

Any ideas??

It doesn't matter if they H or C codes...(history or current)
The actuator door issue will trigger these codes..

The dealers Tech II or you may clear them, but they will persistantly pop up until the gear teeth are indexed..

Exterior temp being low would point to a failure of the temp sensor under the hood. Try a new on and see if the readings correct themselves.

Never messed with one it is supposed to be on the passengers side on the rad, shroud or in that area. I am sure one of the specialists will hop in soon and direct you to it exactly.

Its WAY DOWN LOW at the bottom of the shroud on the passenger side. It is relatively easy to get to once you find it. I had trouble locating it! Hear is a suggestion: lay down at the front of the car and look up into the radiator shroud on the passenger side. You will see the tip of the sensor poking through the shroud (it's the only thing sticking through. Now that you know where it is, it is an easy and cheap fix.
