Double gear swap-need input please
Hi guys, I am hoping for some opinions on this idea. My wife has an 01 coupe A4 with 3.15's, I have a 99 coupe MN6 with 3.42's. Here's "the big idea". Take the 3.42 out of 99 MN6 and install them into 01 A4 and reprogram speedo and be done with that car. Next install 4.10's into 99 MN6 and be done with that car. Turn in 3.15's from 01 A4 for a refund of core charge. Is this swap possible and if so what else should I be aware of and should I even consider doing this myself?

No need to reprogram the speedo all you need to do is program new shift points and yes this swap is doable, do a search for Mike Mercury he has a good website that shows the swap
