If you really want performance stopping power for a performance car, IMHO dont use drilled rotors and ceramic pads. But it is your car.
Here is his post:
My parts jobber quoted me $651.00 for 4 new slotted brake rotors and ceramic brake pads for them. Any one have experience with the ceramic pads? I'm not really after improved brake performance. I just like the thought of not having to clean the brake dust off the wheels.

Most popular and the best rotors are the Raybestos from Rockauto.com or Napa. $100-$120 for all 4 rotors.

Ceramic pads cut down and the brake dust or turn the dust tan, but stopping power?? not really equal to stock pads and no where close to stock Z06 pads.

I would say that you have never had ceramic pads!

Use ceramic for a cruiser. If you want a good bite, skip them.

Ceramics resist heat fade better, but they don't work as well when cold. They dust less, the cost more. Everything is a trade-off.
