The dic is reporting the percent of oil life left.
It starts at 100% and goes down to 0%, at which point you change your oil and reset it to 100%.
It is essentially counting engine revolutions and monitoring temps and the number of starts.
The program does not take into account any oil that you add, and it is not directly measuring any oil characteristic.
It is not reporting your oil level, which you check with the dip stick.
You need to check your oil level ASAP. If it's overfilled, you need to get it to the proper level immediately. Having excess oil in the motor for very long can lead to serious consequences.
Are you serious? If so, that % means "oil life".....that is, how much longer you can leave it in the car......not the oil level. That is what the dipstick is for. You better drain that oil ASAP!!!!!!
