key fob compatibility

Does anyone know if there are different key fobs for the newer vs. older c5s? I have a 98 and lost one. THere are a bunch on ebay but they are the newer type.

There are 3 kinds:

97-99 - all interchangeable/compatible
00 - will only work for this year of Vettes and most $$
'01-'04 - all interchangeable/compatible
