Recall Lower Control Arm

I just got a recall notice for washers and nuts used on the lower control arms. The wrong steel was used and could crack and disentigrate the notice was only for 04 models.

seems like the 04's have had alot of probs
shouldn't it be the other way around- the first yrs have probs and they worked all the bugs out towards the end of the run

Like what kind of problems? I have an '04 built 3/5/04 and so far, no problems until I received this recent recall.
