Planning on going to pocono this sunday for some lapping. In prep I checked the diagnostics and found a code:
60 IPC U1160H
I found out through an extensive search that it is a history code indicating a loss of communication with the LDCM (Left door control module)
I do not have any Idea what the LDCM does or if I should be worried about going up to pocono. I would greatly apreciate any additional info anyone can spare some time to share.
The U codes are generally regarded as nothing, as they do happen quite often for whatever reason...you'll often get many of these U codes when disconnecting the battery.
Reset it and forget it.
The LDCM is the left door control module, which obviously controls the functions of your left (driver's side) door...window.lock,mirror, etc.
The "H" indicates history. Did you ever disconnect the battery or replace the PCM? This could be the reason for the code. I wouldn't worry about it if it's stored as history.
A weak battery will set numerous random codes. Most of the time you can clear them and forget about it. If it is a "H" history code reset it and forget it. If it is a "C" current code and it will not reset; then you have a problem and need to track it down!

I didn't know that about the "C" and "H". I guess I learned something new!!
