Default Sensor Problems PLEASE HELP!!

I need to change out the sensor that measures outside air temperature. Someone here told me it is located next to the radiator shroud (right side). When I ordered the part the dealer told me its located on the drivers side under the windshield wiper shroud. Can anyone help me? Does anyone have an idea to help me?? BTW I have a 2000 coupe.

Once again: CF members "1", Dealers "0"

They are wrong, we are correct.

If you crawl under the car when it's on ramps, you'll see it. It's a small black plastic piece (kind of looks like a small long vacuum cap you'd put on a manifold.) Hope this helps.

it's easy to change,it's out in the right front you can't miss it.look where the air is forced into the radiator/condensor.looking from the front,it will be on your left.

Mac

If you cant replace this, ahhhhhhhhhhh never mind! On a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being easy and 10 being dealer Tech only/ with all of the special tools, I would have to rate it at a 1 1/2. the 1/2 part is because you probably should jack up the passengers side of the car and place it on a stand. It is VERY simple. Unplug the old sensor. plug in the new one.

The sensor is on the right side and sticks through the shroud that directs air into the radiator.

With the hopeful thought that the connector is not corroded beyond use.

I replaced mine from the top of the motor. You can feel for the wire harness.
