What gears do you recomend with an A4 daily driver? Currently have 3.15's and would like to do some track events?

We normally install 3.42 gears on street only cars and 3.73 gears on cars that spend some time drag racing and on the street. The 3.73 gears will increase your cruising Rpm’s. I recommend talking with people that have them and get their opinion.

 

Those are some great prices on heads/cam! With regards to 3.42 vs. 3.73, I have had both and the 3.73s are great. I had 2.73s in my car originally, both sets of gears aren't bad on the highway so don't be afraid to go 3.73, especially if you do a lot of city driving. If I knew how much of a difference the gear swap made when I bought the car, I would have swapped them the day I took my C5 home.

I think your best bet would be to call him at the shop, (908)317-4496. I stopped by there yesterday and don't even know how Dave has time to go online with all the work down there

 

I have the stage II on my 98 C5 and they are GREAT!

 

Excellent prices on the heads/cam packages!! Now I need another car to put it on, LOL!
