Posted this in response to a post in general... probably more appropriate in Tech.
Does anyone know which of these filters is the correct size for mounting to the stock MAF?

I used a 1040 on my 97, but I did have to make a shim out of a 3.5" hose. Had it on for about 3000 miles with no problems. you will need to cut a hole for the vent tube. Looks really good when you are done. Make sure your hood seal is in good order, if not water will leak down on the filter.
