I have added ZO6 sway bars and 2004 shocks to my M6 2004 C5, the difference is fantastic. Does anyone know just how much of an approvement in cornering and handling I could expect by adding ZO6 springs as well.

Depends on if you have the base suspension or Z51 package. If Z51, only difference is rear spring, and it's only 10% stiffer. Not worth the $$ to upgrade in my opinion. Now if you are on the base suspension...

I don't think the cost versus return will be near as good as the shocks and sway bar swap. Try the tunnel brace only $130 and let us know how much improvement you get. If that isn't enough then spend the $1200 for Z06 springs.

Thanks for the reply, I do have the base suspension package.

Well, in your case it might just be worth it then. But maybe you can find them in good, used condition for cheap. If not, you'd probably be better off spending that kind of dough on coil-overs.. That's what I'd do.

I finally did what you are asking, I added Z06 springs (from Karshop, thanks Gene)
The improvement was worth the job. Remember, the three parts: springs, shocks and swaybars were matched by GM and they fit together pretty well.
With the old springs in long slow up and downs on the road, the car moved up and down a lot. That is because the shocks are velocity related, and at low velocities they do not build up much force.
For that price, isn't it better to add an aftermarket Z06 spring, like Eibach pro kit?
Probably stiffer and improves handling as well as lowers your car a little which lowers the center of gravity also improving handling.
