oh ok my bad one is temp the other is pressure right?
i assumed it was oil level just like the bars for gas that is available since there is already an oil temp reading on the dic

I have a 2000 that use to consume oil. Only way to get rid of the message on the DIC after adding oil was having the car off for few hours. I still wonder what the logic is behind that.
Thanks for the gas pedal trick, mine was on change oil now but I was to lazy to look it up in the manual.

As far as I know the HUD will give you 3 different readings.
Water temperature
Fuel level
Oil Pressure
Burning Brakes
