Advise no Idle

I've got an 2003 z06 with a problem, my hotrod wont hold an idle. Seems like if you start the car and don't drive it the idle will stay at about 800. When you drive the car the idle just drops below the usual idle point and won't recover and dies. Thanks for listening.

Do you have an oiled air filter? Check the MAF for oil residue if that's the case, it would be the first place to check.

PLEASE check the codes and post what ever is stored in the DIC. After you have written them down, clear them and see what comes back as a current problem.

Checking the codes is definately the place to start.
