louder with or without x-pipe?

louder with or without x-pipe?
I am going to remove my cats. Will the exhaust be louder and have a deeper tone if I just have 2 pipes put in their place or would I be better off with replacing with an X-pipe in their place?

Sorry but thats how I read his post. I dont think there will be much difference between my off road pipe and his.
