Is this thing at least good for relative measurements or is it just a toy? Anyone have any experience with it? I'm thinking that it would at least let you know if your changes have made any improvements without going to the time and expense of a dyno.
I've been looking at this thing for quite some time. I noticed there are two new models on the website for $199 and $299. I wonder if they're any better.
I don't think they are too bad at all. Many people have tested them and compared them to the track and they are awefully close in accuracy. If you are using them just to test and tune adjustments and or mods, then I think they are perfect. If you use the same one before and after then it should certainly tell you if you did any better. Just have to make sure it is level before you take off to get an accurate reading.

The accuracy isn't as important as consistency. As long as you can tell if your mods have made measurable improvements or not. Although "user friendly" is equally important. If it's a PIA to use, it takes the fun out of using it.
Maybe I should ask which model everyone has because it's possible the newer ones have dealt with useability issues.

Thanks
For this price I'd be willing to try for myself.. I wonder if they are stolen?

My apologies. I just looked at their website the GTech-pro I had looks nothing like current versions.
Escort Radar and BEL Electronics have the same products out. I think they are all the same, the higher models having the data download option to your computer.
The new Gtech models claim that leveling is no longer necessary because they have 3 accelerometers. I like the ability to save and download 2hrs of data to a computer. On the other hand, not too many happy customers of the old product and the Tazzo is 1/3rd the price.
