Default Drag strip tires??

What I'm looking to find out is what kind of tire to get? I'm looking for a tire that I could drive to the strip which is 110 highway miles from my house and still get good traction at the strip. Now I have Michelin ZP RF's on stock rims and would like something to get a better launch. Drag radials - Et streets ???
Thanks

First time out 60' 2.06 1/4 13.10 mph 106.33

Sounds like BFG or Nitto DR's are what you're looking for. Check out the tire rack for pricing etc.

Get DRs, BFGs will give you the best traction but will not last as long as Nitto DRs.

I run the Nitto DR's on my car both on the street and at the track.. They are terrific tires.

if you got a stock clutch its not going to like ET streets too much, so i would suggest the nitto, or bfg drag radials

As per his sig, he has a A4.
With your stock rear and converter, Nitto's will work fine. Btw, what else do you have done to get dyno numbers like that?

Nitto's or the BFG Dr's. The BFG's are a little softer compound than the Nitto's.

I drive 1:45 mins to the 1/4 mile track on my Nitto 555r's and they work/drive great.

Hard to go wrong with some ET Streets! Unless of course you get stuck in rain
