Any Ideas...i Had A P0101 H Code On Their A Few Weeks Ago But Cleared It Which Would Have Been The Maf, And Chevy Would Have Replaced It Had I Left The Code There! But My Car Has A Lag Sometimes When Trying To Accelerate Lightly. Thanks!
That is what the code means. Now I don't know what causes it. Maybe someone can explain. The code U1088h I could not find anything on.
Cheers!

wow, the only codes you are recovering are communication codes? Battery voltage ok? Alternator ok? Any recent software changes/downloads? If all of that is ok, then start checking wiring fuses and relays... I ran through that this morning at work.
The LOSS OF COMMs codes are CLASSIC signs of a weak or bad battery! If your battery is weak because it has been sitting for a while or it is going bad, it will crank the car but the avaliable voltage will drop very low (9-10 volts) during cranking and the modules will loose comms.
My 98 did the same thing for a VERY long time before I broke down and got a new battery! After the battery change, NO MORE CODES!
You can have it checked out for free at most automotive stores Advanced AutoZone ect
yeah clear all those codes out of there and see what comes back. As for your drivability problem, check your intake system connections to make sure that the maf is registering properly if you haven't already.

good suggestion
from another web site: "Normal" codes: U1016 , U1064 , U1096
these three may appear on your car when you check for codes, but they will not set the "Check Engine Light". Don't worry about these codes, nothing is wrong if you keep getting these.

The U1016H, U1040H and U1096H codes are something I've experienced pretty much ever since I've had the car (1st owner), both before and after a new battery (Red Top). They are history codes and of no real concern to me, other than the fact that they keep recurring after being reset. Oh well, at least these are not codes that pop up on the DIC.
Yeah I wonder. I know some years that the column lock recall is just a software upgrade where other years actually require some mechanical changes. To boot, my FOB stopped working after the Column lock recall was performed.
