POS Vette
dumping the vette and getting something with less problems.
as much as i hate to say it a 2004 Cobra isnt sounding to bad..GOD Forbid.
we shall see what the dealer says and how much they are wanting to fix something that i am sure is just trivial, **** poor design.
you could say i am little bitter
i think i need about 20 of these

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts

Fixing the vette sucks.....fight through that ****, bro.
had no problems installing them everything went pretty much textbook.
checked the wires multiple times and the spark plug tips, made sure when i took the plug wires off (MSD) not to pull on the red portion.
made sure the rear O2's were wired like they were when i disassembled them. DS O2 wire to PS harness and PS O2 to DS harness.
this is a 2000 C5.
So i check all the fuses all were good.
The onlky thing i can think of is that when installed my abs of aluminum
i used a creeper under the car and when i went to take the 1st bolt out the socket on the rachet shot a little electricity to the car chassis.
here are my codes.
0412-Air solenoid Relay Control Circuit
0418-Air Pump Relay Control Circuit
0443- Evap Purge Solenoid valve control circuit
these 2 well
0801-reverse inhibit solenoid control circuit
0803-1-4 upshift solenoid
i have an appointment with GM on saturday unless i get it fixed
$80 to get it scanned and an estimate to fix.
my scanner is getting reflashed go figure

well, grasshopper...let's see. You install headers and a backbone w/o disconnecting the battery and now you say it's the POS Vette. As in many things, often times it's the loose nut behind the wheel. Don't blame the car for a screw up that you probably caused. The PCM is VERY easily damaged via shorts and most likely there is your problem. Have the guts to post what was replaced by the dealer so that we can all see the end to your POS Vette thread and Fix Or Repair Daily (FORD) rant

Check them with an OHM Meter or replace them with a known good fuse.
Please let me know what you find! This should solve 0412, 0418 & 0443.

still has some hesitation on the bottom end, but i also pulled several other fuses as well.
looking back to when i bought the car...
the previous owner did say something about bloweing fuses after heavy rains. which the car has been in the last week including right after i did the install.
Also i went to use the Cruise control tonight and it was INOP.
so will find out if she works in the morning.
the only code i am geting now is BO-RFA C2120 HC
I am ordering my service manual tonight
Also pertaining the batery issue, yes it was disconnected when the work was done and yes it arced when i put the terminals back on, could this be it? it would be sad to say that little arc would cause his but i've ben wrong before.
I would think

Blowing fuses when it rains IS a big deal!
I would check to see if your BCM and the interior fues center is getting wet from leaking water fron the Cowl drains or the AC/Heater box drains. See if your passengers side carpets and the jute underlayment is wet or damp! I have no idea what C2120 is. My manuals skip over it. Make sure you read it correctly
As for hesitation, you need to get rid of all of the other codes, check the BCM and passengers foot well fuse box for water/dampness and clear all of the codes again and take it for a ride and read the codes again..
