Oxygen sensor question...

Default Oxygen sensor question...
My new long tube headers are installed and the passenger side oxy. sensor is barely long enough to reach the connecting harness, so I took the harness loose from the frame clip and now the harness is way to close to the header (1/4" !) I'm afraid the wires will melt. What other application have you used that has a longer wire connector?

What type of headers? There are some extensions available from some of the forum vendors.

Order the 97 O2 sensors. They have longer wiring harnesses.
