I took my C5 in for a recall problem - I believe it was termed as "locked steering"
Since then, I've received error messages (bear with me - I don't remember the exact verbiage)
1) "Pull the key out for 10 seconds before attempting to start car"
2) "Tire Monitoring problems"
3) The electrical system seems to be pulsing in cycles - my lights dim every 30 seconds or so.
4) I recently received a message that my seat belt was not fastened when it was.
It almost sounds as if your battery is dying, but since you just recently brought your car in for service, the dealership may be responsible for the weird events. How old is your battery?

No - I don't think so - the electrical cycles - more like an altenator or generator - the battery is new.
Thanks for the input - I'm at my wit's end about this. It's a great car otherwise.
When I still had my 68, I had a similar problem once. The dash lights would pulse bright and dim while I was driving. A guy at work suggested I change the voltage regulator (back then, they were separate from the alternator) and sure enough, that solved the problem. Since this component is now built into the alternator, that may be your problem. Then again, there have been more than a few posts here about wire harness connectors and corossion due to moisture intrusion, so I wouldn't rule that out either.
