Just search "P0440 dic code". I'll go out in the garage and look in the shop manaul and see what it says.

The EVAP system is not able to achieve or maintain vacuum during the diagnostic test.
I copied these from a few posts:
"Did you check to make sure the gas cap is tight?"
"Check the lines at the evap cannister and make sure the one running to the tank is connected."
It is in the fuel vapor portion of the emissions. double check the fuel cap is tight and the lines to evap purge solenoid and evap vent valve have not come off or leaking a little."

I put a little silicone grease on my gas cap every once in a while. It seem to keep it plyable and help it seal. I lube it up good prior to taking it to the emissions station! They like to fail gas caps!
