From time to time it bogs/misses if I'm on the gas or not.
I just got the car. Any ideals?

Might have a bad spark plug wire. Probably should inspect each wire for cracks.

Wires and plugs are the most likley suspect! The resistance of each wire should be 250-750 ohms. The boots and jackets should be free of nicks, tears, cuts and corrosion.

If the plugs have more than 30K on them, I would change them!

See if you are throwing any codes! Please post them. After you write them down, Clear all of them.

I'd say its time for a tune up, if that hasn't been done yet.

I would consider several other things besides tune up related repairs, such as is the check engine light coming on when bogging happens, if so there should be stored dtc's. also check fuel pressure, fuel filter restriction , exaust system restriction , poor spark voltage

good luck;
