Default Gear Oil Change on Diff

Don't need to know how to do, but would like suggestions on the new gear oil transfer. I have been to several national chains and the available hand pumps do not look like they could push the oil. One style pump used a one piece that looked like a grease gun but this pump I was told would be difficult to use. Any one with a suggestion. I was looking for a small electric transfer pump.

I used a Mity Vac unit I got from sears, that I've also seen at Pep Boyz etc. Its a hand pump unit. Unless you have other uses, this unit worked just fine. Just make sure to have the oil and pump higher then the diffy.

Get a drill pump from Lowes/Home Depot. You'll need some fittings and adapters to mate it to a small enough hose, but works like a charm.

The pump that looks like a grease gun will work fine.

It should have about one foot of clear hose on the end. It works like a big hypodermic needle and holds about one pint. Autozone or napa has them for $10.
Also, you do not need to have the pump higher than the gear fill point. Just shove in the hose and ram in the fluid.
Recently pushed a quart of 75w90 royal purple gear oil into my 280z with one (and 2 quarts in the tranny). No sweat.

I used something that looks like a big IV fluid bag! It has a screw on top that you remove to fill the bag and a 4' long clear 1/2 tube that you shove into the fill hole. once it's full of fluid, you squeeze the bag and the fluid goes in!

Got it at Autozone and have seen it at Advance auto parts.
