Battery Replacement
After a search I found no info on how to replace a battery in my 98 Corvette.
I was wondering if I just take the battery out and put in a new one?
I would like to know if this would change the radio codes or other computer assisted devices. I know on my wifes Mercedes you had to keep power on to keep devices active in order to avoid a mess of reprograming.

If you have the stereo security code set, make sure that you write it down. when you remove the battery it will lock out the radio!!
There is a tech tip on how to unlock it if you dont know the code.
Other than that, you will need to reprogram your FOBS and ease entry settings if you leave the battery disconnected for an extended period of time.
