I have a stock 2002, Z06. I am looking at a Halltech Stinger Intake System for C5 and Z06 Corvette. How much HP gain will I get if any?
Does anyone have Dyno test before and after.

You should be able to pick up around 15 hp rather easily with a decent air intake.

The '02 Z06 had a pretty generous stock intake opening for its stock air flow needs. I'm not sure you will get $200 worth of improvement by putting on a Stinger; 15 hp gain would be surprising, and certainly on the upper end of what you could get. You might try changing to a K&N or other nonpaper filter element for a little more flow. To be clear, I am talking about an otherwise stock Z - if you tinker with other engine mods, your air flow needs may increase and a Stinger might make sense

I would also guess around a 15hp increase! The Halltech Trap Tunnel Ram would probably provide more, but is also a little more pricey. I am considering 1 of the 2, but I may lean a little more towards the Halltech Trap due to it being an open air CAI unit! Either way, Halltech makes some great products.

I literally just got done installing it. I had the "zip tie" mod before. The car does feel a bit stronger but it does look VERY VERY nice, especially the red. You can do a DIY Cold air but I may buy the conversion for the TRAP. Fit and quality are excellent. SOTP improvement seems to be there but who knows? But I got mine on the GP 200 shipped so I figured what the hell??
