Default code diagnosis/translation help please

no response in scan/tune so I thought I'd try here.

I ran the codes yesterday and there are a bunch! most are designated "h" so I don't need to worry about them, right? the ones designated "h" + "c" are the ones I need to address, correct?

the ones with "h" + "c" are:
99-HVAC B0441 (actuator out of range)
B0-RFA C2120 (tpm system malfunction)

"NO COMM" from 38-RTD or A6-SCM. do I run those with the car running?

what do those codes really mean? what do I need to replace?

I'll try to help you...

the B0441 means the actuator door either didn't open or close fully, for the air conditioning to be diverted thru the vents....

Sometimes its the actuator itself, other times it can be in the control head, and sometimes, inside the actuator, the gear teeth need to be moved over or indexed by 2 teeth in order for proper closure etc.
Its tough to diagnosis.. Even with a GM Tech II, there are values to different steps, which will indicate the fault, but even those can be false... You may have to go at this a few times before you finally resolve it...

The 2120 code, tpm, tire pressure monitor, could be a pressure sensor with a bad battery that didn't register or it could be you ran rims with no sensors....

The no communication codes are very common and can be deleted, and you should not worry about those, unless you begin to experience many frequent faults of different sorts..

Hope it helps you..

I normally examine the the codes in memory and write down any that are listed and put a date on the event in my log book.
Then clear all of the codes. If I see a Current "C" code, that means that the module is having that issues now and requires immediate trouble shooting.
A History code "H" means that the problem occured but the module is currently functioning properly. The next time I examine the codes, i look back and see if any of the same ones happened in the past.

If you see a lot of history codes pop up and a lot of "NO COMS", that sometimes indicates that the system expierenced a low voltage (9.0 VDC or less) and some of the modules stopped functioning for a breif period of time (normaly in mili seconds). This could be the result of a low charge on the battery, a bad battery or a bad connection.

Hope this helps.

both of you have been extemely helpful, thanks! tire pressure monitor, DUH! I removed them since I couldn't get them to stick on my iforgeds. the ac--that's a whole other story, I replaced the head unit a while back and the replacement worked fine for a bit but now isn't coming on full blast. replace it again or have someone dig into it?

what are the codes for o2 sensors? my tuner mentioned I had an o2 sensor out and needed to replace it.
