Default HELP: Headlights suck

These stock headlights are about worthless. The PIAA driving lights put out more light. What is the best way to get better lighting? T84's with HID or just T84 and Xenon lamps? Thanks for your help. David

Dave

Change your light bulbs to Sylvainia Silver Stars. I got mine at Advanced. Autozone also carries them. They give a much whiter and cleaner light. I really like mine.

They are not HID's but sure do improve the drive at night.

Before I went with SW C5Rs I installed a 6000K HID setup in my stock poopups. It wasn't the best beam pattern and glared pretty bad but it solved the light problem.

I went with the T84 lenses and 90/100 watt bulbs....also added heavier wiring to supply the extra current needed. Total cost was under $300 and it was the best mod I have done! I can actually see what I'm about to hit

Do a search on the T84s you should find alot of discussion about them. If you decide to go this way I have instructions with pics that I could email you.

Good luck

Thanks for the information. I was thinking of going with the T84's and higher wattage lamps. I would appreciate it if you shared the instructions. David
