If I end up with a Z06 then I'll be leaving it stock.

If I end up with a C6 then I'll be adding some bolt on's.

Either way it's going to be

Yes, and you'll buy two of everything, we know.

Black rear license plate holder, rubber Loyd mats, C6 emblem decals on sun visors over warning stickers. No performance mods at all.

I've already upgraded the stereo speakers. I'm researching wheels and better tires, needed by mid-year. Once the tuning tools are available and some experience has been gained with them, engine and tranny upgrades are next, likely starting next fall. A higher stall converter, reprogrammed shift points, and a nitrous kit, are near the top of that list.

NO! My C6 is faster than my old '01 Z06, and just as fast as my old '02 & 04 Zo6's were, and it's an Automatic!!

The performance factor is already a 10..............sure heads/cam pkg, hedders, ect will add more hp and tq, and thats just fine for those power "junkies". ( I confess I WAS one once!)

However, for most of us, real world performance does not lie at the upper end of the RPM scale.............give me 400 lb of torque from 2500 RPM and let the curve be flat to 5500 RPM!

I would like the sound of my C6 to sound like my '04 Z06 ( stock Ti exhausts) though.

The only mod I plan to make is a B&B cat back exhaust. The stock mufflers sound anemic.

Hmmm the only mods will be cosmetic..Z51 took care of the stuff I'm interested in (plenty of power but needs to stay planted). As far as cosmetics...Z51 enblem for the rear along with the 44 led third tailight (safety and killer looks). After that I think she is near perfect...can't take my eyes off her

You guys are quite lucky since most of the aftermarket items are legal in the States.

In Switzerland, all the cat back systems, headers and intakes which are no available are not allowed and will get you in trouble once the catch you

I would defenetly go for longtube haeders, cat back and intake, maybe cats as well.

Regards Hampi
